Abstract:

Temperature, salinity and oxygen concentrations were measured coincident with sample collections of sand and water along West Florida Panhandle beaches.

DO mg/l- The concentration of oxygen dissolved in water, expressed in mg/liter Sal ppt- Salinity is in parts per thousand (based on the Practical Salinity Scale of 1978 (PSS78)). Methods:

Parameters were determined in fresh surf water on site. For Sampling Sites 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, and 07 sites basic parameters for seawater including atmospheric pressure, oxygen % saturation, mg/liter of dissolved oxygen, salinity in ppt, and conductivity were determined with a multiparameter meter.
