Abstract:

The objective of this study as an initial effort for the development of a comprehensive model package was to develop a three-dimensional hyd rodynamic model accounting for both barotropic and baroclinic pressure gradient forces for the Alabama coastal waters, to develop wave and surge models, and to conduct preliminary validation of the models using the existing data.
