Abstract:

This is the pilot dataset that was developed using primarily data from data.bsee.gov. It was used to test configurations of assets, activities, and incidents using our database framework.

Purpose:

The purpose of this data is to demonstrate a model data architecture for storing information about offshore oil and gas risk exposure and incidents.

Data Parameters and Units:

Units are specified within the data, where relevant.

Methods:

This data is extracted from a graph database. The ID numbers are used to connect "nodes" of this database via "edges." This database is a demonstration, rather than a complete product. Hence, we have submitted the extracted data, rather than a finalized database product.
