The dataset contains laboratory test data of air Taylor Bubble rising in 3 fluids of water, viscous gel, and viscous gel slurry (with proppant).

Purpose:

Experimental data used to calibrate model in determining the rise of gas bubble in drilling riser, and developing a proposed pressure difference method in monitoring the rise of a gas bubble. Reference SPE J 26 (05) 2479-2497 (https://DOI.org/10.2118/205362-PA).

Data Parameters and Units:

11 Gauge data (Voltage) and Pressure (psig) at different Vertical Positions (inch) and Time (sec), for 3 series of tests: water-air bubble, gel-air bubble, and slurry-air bubble.
