Abstract:

Water level was measured every half hour at a mudflat landward of the Barataria Pass (29°16'57.0"N 89°58'13.3"W), the major inlet of Barataria Bay, Louisiana from 2018-02-14 to 2018-03-10. Water level was measured with a pressure sensor positioned on the bed surface.

These measurements are part of the broader objective of understanding water and sediment fluxes in Barataria Bay, Louisiana through a multi-instrument deployment.

Data Parameters and Units:

Column 1: Date (MM/DD/YYYY), Column 2: Time (sec since 1970-01-01 00:00:00; local time, 24-hour format), Column 3: Water level height (meters).

Instruments:

Measurements are taken with RBR datalogger placed on the bed surface.
