Abstract:
This data set contains quality-controlled hourly water level and 2-D velocity data collected at a single location (29.27869, -89.94669) in Barataria Pass, the major inlet of Barataria Bay, Louisiana, from 2018-02-15 to 2018-04-16. Water level was measured with a pressure sensor positioned 0.4 m above the bottom in 1.9m of water, and velocity was measured with a Nortek Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV). The raw ADV data from 2018-02-15 through 2018-06-08 are also included but the data from May and June were not quality controlled.
