Abstract:

This sea surface temperature (SST) data set has been collected by the NASA Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) mission from the NASA AQUA satellite as part of its normal operation, during the SPLASH campaign on May 2nd 2017 at 07:30 UTC. The data has been used for the identification of a Mississippi plume front in the below-referenced paper.
