Abstract:
This dataset consists raw and processed data for all the variables analyzed (Body length (mm), Body mass (mg), Condition factor (k), Heart rate(bpm), Oxygen consumption (MO2), Time to loss of equilibrium (min), Sexual ratio). Additionally, it contains the data files obtained from the software and the series of images obtained from the video recordings used to estimate heart rate.

Data Parameters and Units:
There are folders of data “Photos heart rate”, “O2 Consumption raw data” and “Data for GRIIDC Sexual Differentiation”. The folder “Photos heart rate” contains image sequences used to determine the heart rate of individual fishes. The folder “O2 Consumption raw data” contains raw data obtained from the software at each specific day post fertilization in which oxygen consumption was measured. The folder “Data for GRIIDC Sexual Differentiation” contains files that contain information on 0. Sexual differentiation, 1. Mass Length and Condition factor, 2. heart rates, 3. Oxygen consumption of the fish, and 4. Time to loss of equilibrium. Data set also includes an extensive readme describing content of all folders. The headers for 0. Sexual differentiation are: Client, Project, Service, Request, Sample, Lab Code, Sample Type, Date Collected, Date Received, Date Extracted, Date Analyzed, Extraction Method, Method, Matrix, Basis, Units Component, Dilution Factor, Reporting Limit, Detection Limit, Result, Result Notes, Spike Concentration, Percent Recovery, Acceptance Limits, Average, RPD, Retention Time, Regulatory Limit. 1. Mass Length and Condition factor: Replicate number, Days post fertilization, Dietary treatment, Mass in grams, Length in millimeters, Condition Factor. 2. Heart rates: Replicate number, Days post fertilization, Dietary treatment, Beats per minute. 3. Oxygen consumption: Replicate number, Days post fertilization, Dietary treatment, Oxygen Consumption in mg/L. 4. Time to loss of equilibrium: Replicate number, Days post fertilization, Dietary treatment, and Time to loss of equilibrium in minutes.
