Abstract:

This dataset contains the spectra obtained with constant energy synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy (CESFS) of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) extracted from the standard reference material (SRM) 1597a (a coal tar sample) and fractionated by normal-phase liquid chromatography (NPLC). It includes the spectra from BaPer, DBalP, N12eP, N12aP, DBbeF, DBaiP, N23aP, DBahP, DBakF, DBaeP, N23jF, and N12kF originating from the tenth to twelfth fractions. ‌All spectra were recorded using an Ultimate 3000 Dionex high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system (Thermo Scientific, Sunnyvale, California) with a fluorescence detector. Purpose:

This dataset is part of an effort to investigate the feasibility of using CESFS for the analysis of co-eluting PAHs with identical chromatographic responses under normal and reversed-phase conditions.
