Abstract:

This dataset presents the chromatographic retention times, excitation and emission wavelengths for 23 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with a molecular mass of 302 g/mol in standard reference material 1597a using reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) and stop-flow room-temperature fluorescence (RTF) spectra. The analysis was performed using an ultimate 3000 Dionex HPLC system (Thermo Scientific, Sunnyvale, California) equipped with a pump, UV absorption and fluorescence detectors, and an online degasser. To determine polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with molecular mass 302 Da in SRM 1597a.

3-Rt-PAH-em-ex-averageRt-Sd xlsx file contains the number of samples used to calculate average retention time and standard deviation of 23 PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon), excitation wavelengths (nm), emission wavelengths (nm), retention time # 1 (min), retention time # 2 (min), retention time # 3 (min), averaged retention time, and standard deviation (min). Maximum excitation and emission wavelengths are indicated by underline.

Methods:

NPLC (Normal phase liquid chromatography) fractionation procedure was used prior to RPLC and stop flow room temperature fluorescence detection.
