This record includes repository information for genomic sequence of Rhodobacteraceae strain O3.65. This bacteria was isolated from weathered surface oil from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Purpose:

The purpose of this data set is to describe the genomic capacity of a bacterial isolate collected at the time of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. This isolate is particularly interesting as it is a member of the ubiquitous and environmentally relevant Roseobacter clade.
