Abstract:

Measurements of the density of Louisiana Sweet Crude Oil (LSC) at different temperatures and elevated pressures.

Purpose:

The experiments have been done to get the physical properties of LSC as function of pressure and temperature. These data are required for several theoretical determinations, simulations and the comparison of experimental data, e.g. rise velocities, with theory.

Data Parameters and Units:

Measurement of densities of LSC (g/mL), Temperature (4 °C, 20 °C, 35 °C), and pressure (0 to 150 bar)
