Abstract:
This data was collected through the standard suite of measurements provided by the underway University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) vessel R/V F.G. Walton Smith cruise WS17107 lead by Chief scientist Dr. Brian Haus. The data was collected during the CARTHE/SPLASH experiment which departed Miami, FL on April 17, 2017, and ended on April 30th, 2017 in Gulfport, MS. This data includes underway measurements from 2017-04-17 to 2017-04-29 that are also archived on the Rolling Deck to Repository site of UNOLS (http://www.rvdata.us/catalog/WS17107). This dataset reports temperature, pressure, depth, conductivity, salinity, precipitation, navigation, oxygen saturation, density, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, barometric pressure, thermosalinograph temperature, thermosalinograph salinity, turbidity, U- and V- current components, short and longwave radiation, and fluorometer readings.
