Abstract:

In-situ water column profiles of particle size distribution and volume concentration collected using a Laser In-Situ Scattering and Transmissometry 100-X (type B). Samples were collected from Mobile Bay river plume in October 2015.

Purpose:

Particle size distribution was obtained in support of the CONsortium for oil spill exposure pathways in COastal River-Dominated Ecosystems (CONCORDE) research effort to characterize the physical fields influenced by pulsed river discharge.
