Abstract:

The dataset includes: experimental data of a horizontal underwater release of oil without and with dispersants, and modeling results to predict the jet hydrodynamics, droplet size distribution, and tip streaming phenomenon when dispersants are present. Purpose:

To investigate the jet hydrodynamics and droplet size distribution of oil without and with dispersants discharged from an underwater pipe, specifically to predict the tip streaming phenomenon.
