Abstract:
Conductivity, temperature, and depth data from the ship's CTD, which was deployed at each of the DEEPEND stations. Depth of cast is variable, but extends from near-surface waters to below the euphotic zone. These data are used in the assessment of the water column's vertical structure, and for comparison with physical models. Data were collected during cruise DP03 (R/V Point Sur cruise PS1622, cruise doi: https://doi.org/10.7284/909386) in the northern Gulf of Mexico, 2016-05-01 - 2016-05-13.

Methods:
In addition to the raw CTD data, 1 meter depth binned data is available for each CTD cast. The chlorophyll and CDOM fluorescence values have been converted using a regression to discrete water sample measurements made during the cruise. Here, the in-situ fluorometry units for the chlorophyll_a concentrations units are mg/m^3, and the CDOM units are absorption of 400nm light (1/m).
