Abstract:

CTD and positional data provided by the NOAA Pascagoula lab, for the sediment collections made by Troy University and Jacksonville State University on the annual "small pelagics" Oct-Nov cruise. Collection dates were 2007-10-12 - 2007-11-16; 2008-10-12 - 2008-11-19; 2009-10-15 - 2009-11-20; 2010-10-14 - 2010-11-23; 2011-10-14 - 2011-11-13; and 2012-10-23 - 2012-11-19.

Data Parameters and Units:

Vessel, Cruise, Station, Start Time (MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM), End Time (MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM), Grab Time (MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM), GrabLat, GrabLon, Grab Latitude (decimal degrees), Grab Longitude (decimal degrees) Units used in the dataset: salinity (ppt), temperature (degrees Celsius), depth (m), oxygen (mg). Depth is recorded twice. Depth refers to the CTD depth taken on the first drop. Sample depth refers to the sediment grab taken after the CTD was retrieved.
