Abstract:

This dataset contains the biological information and otolith measurements for Southern Flounder (Paralichthys lethostigma) for Louisiana. Biological data and otoliths were collected by the Louisiana Department of Fisheries and Wildlife and the University of Florida during 2005-2015; all otolith measurements were done solely by the University of Florida (Murie).

Purpose:

To examine differences in the otolith growth increment for Southern Flounder by age-specific year of growth prior to and after the DWH oil spill.
