Abstract:

Blue crab megalopae were collected using passive collectors and plankton nets during the summers of 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. Individual megalopae were extracted and screened by PCR for the presence of DNA belonging to the parasitic dinoflagellate Hematodinium perezi.
