Abstract:

Profiles of temperature and salinity stress for locations on the Louisiana coast compiled from the Louisiana Coastwide Reference Monitoring Systems (CRMS). Samples analyzed from June 10, 2014 to August 25, 2015.

Purpose:

These profiles were used to identify episodes of stressful physical conditions for blue crabs.

Data Parameters and Units:

Location, Month, Day, Year, Columns represent temperature and salinity stress and are coded as X_Temp_XX and X_Salt_XX with the first number indicating the duration the stress was measured over in days and the second number representing the value that defined stress (Salinity in psu and Temperature in degrees Celcius). Results are given in % of time conditions were above the value that defined stress.
