Abstract:

The dataset provides numerical data for the dynamic light scattering and thermogravametric analysis conducted to characterize silica nanoparticle aggregates. This data supports the paper: Gupta, A. et al. (2014) Phase and sedimentation behavior of oil (octane) dispersions in the presence of model mineral aggregates. Purpose:

The objective of this work was to create a model mineral aggregate that does not employ organic surface treatments and to examine oil/surfactant/water emulsion behavior in the absence or presence of the mineral aggregates.
