Abstract:

The hydrate inhibition performance was examined by micro-differential scanning scanning calorimeter (micro-DSC) experiments and observing morphology of hydrate. The hydrophobic nanoparticle seriously inhibit the hydrate formation.

Purpose:

This study researched the effects of hydrophobic silica nanoparticles (SiNPs) on hydrate crystal growth. The hydrate inhibition performance was examined by micro-differential scanning scanning calorimeter (micro-DSC) experiments and observing morphology of hydrate.
