Abstract:

Water samples were collected from surface waters (2 m) near the Deepwater Horizon site in May, 2013. The bacterial community was analyzed using 454 pyrosequencing techniques. This dataset reports the lengths of 16S rRNA sequences 400 to 500 bp.
