Abstract:

Megalopae were collected at 6 sites within Terrebonne Bay, LA. Megalopae were collected every 24 hours for four days. Latitude, longitude, salinity, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, and chlorophyll a parameters were recorded at each site.

Purpose:

Dataset was created to determine if megalopae settlement was different between known oiled and unoiled sites established in 2010. Oil analysis from sediment samples collected in 2014 is pending.

Methods:

Three megalopal collectors were placed at each site. Each collector was picked up and replaced every 24 hours over 4 days.
