Abstract:

Radiocarbon and 13C stable isotope composition of suspended Particulate organic carbon. Collected from multiple sites in the Northern Gulf of Mexico.

Purpose:

To assess the influence of oil and gas on water column and sediment biogeochemical processes and the distribution of substances that affect biological productivity.

year, site ID, depth (m), delta13C (PDB), delta14C, std, CAMS#, size micro moles C, micro moles C/liter. Site ID and sample dates: DS1 29.2050, -87.0617 sampled on May 16 2011 and May 21 2012; DS2 30.1670 -86.6630 sampled on May 16 2011 and May 21 2012; DS3 28.8259 -88.2678 sampled on May 17 2011 and May 20 2012; DS4 29.1832 -87.7487 sampled on May 18 2011 and May 19 2012.
