Abstract:

This cruise was designed to measure the concentration of a chemical tracer released in July-August 2012 on the GISR G02 Cruise (R/V Pelican cruise PE14-05). Data were collected 2013-07-31 - 2013-08-27. This data set includes vertical profiles of measurements made from a CTD/Rosette system and documentation.

Purpose:

This is ancillary data that gives additional information about the physical state of the ocean during the cruise. This data set includes vertical profiles of measurements made from a CTD/Rosette system and documentation including tracer concentration.

Tracer concentration fM (femtoMoles): txt files for each station-- * Niskin Bottle Data Corresponding data with variables showing below * Column 0 = Conductivity from CTD sensor pair 1 (Siemens/meter) * Column 1 = Conductivity from CTD sensor pair 2 (Siemens/meter) * Column 2 = Tracer concentration (fM) * Column 3 = Uncertainty in Cmat (fM) * Column 4 = Pressure (dbar) * Column 5 = Salinity from C1mat, T1mat, and Pmat * Column 6 = Salinity from C2mat, T2mat, and Pmat * Column 7 = Temperature (1990 scale) from CTD sensor pair 1 (deg C) * Column 8 = Temperature (1990 scale) from CTD sensor pair 2 (deg C) CTD: time (MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss), longitude (decimal degrees), latitude (decimal degrees), depth (dB), temperature (deg C), temperature2 (deg C), conductivity (Siemens/meter), conductivity2 (Siemens/meter), salinity (PSU), salinity2 (PSU), density (kg/meter^3), descent rate (meters/second). GISR_G05_CTD CTD data from TAMU and WHOI CTD-Rosette systems: 96 CTD cast made with the LUMCOM and TAMU CTD/Rosette systems.
