Abstract:

The E/V Nautilus provides and operates a number of acoustic and imaging systems which are considered to be part of the ship's equipment or its remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). Some or all of these systems may be turned on or off at the discretion of the ship's science support staff or at the request of the Principal Investigator. These data are supplemental and are provided to the Principal Investigator as part of the services provided by the ship lease. These data are provided in a fixed directory structure which is documented in the file names.

Purpose:

This dataset contains supplemental underway data collected during Dr. Scott Socolofsky's visit to natural gas seeps at lease blocks MS118 and GC600 during GISR Cruise G07 (Nautilus Cruise NA046) conducted 16-26 July 2014.

This is supplemental data collected during GISR Cruise G07. The dataset is in the same form as received. No supplemental processing or analyses have been done. These data are submitted as is with no additional documentation other than that provided by the E/V Nautilus. Empty folders may indicate that the instrument was not operated for the cruise.
