Abstract:

Time series of meteorological observations collected during the GLAD experiment in the northern Gulf of Mexico (July-August 2012) on board the RV Walton Smith. All met sensors were mounted on a mast above the bridge. All records are archived at one-second intervals.

Purpose:

These wind and meteorological measurements were collected during the GLAD experiment to determine meteorological conditions near the ocean surface to help interpret sea surface slope measurements being collected during the experiment.
