Abstract:

During Atlantis 2014 cruise, water column profiles were collected and were measured for dissolved ammonium concentrations using advanced auto-analyzer equipment from the Martens lab at UNC-Chapel Hill. Most ammonium concentrations were close to background values.

Purpose:

The data were collected as part of ECOGIG studies of nitrogen cycling near natural gas seeps and brine pools in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
