Abstract:

Five conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) casts made from the R/V Pelican (cruise PE14-07) in the northern Gulf of Mexico (lease blocks GC600 and GC647) in conjunction with and support of AUV deployments (Eagle Ray and Mola Mola) and SSD / iSpider mission to rescue Mola Mola. Samples were collected from 2013-08-30 to 2013-09-08.

Purpose:

These CTD casts were made to test pressure housings, acquire sound velocity profiles to support SSD/iSpider and ROV operations, and collect water samples.
