Abstract:

Analysis of water and sediment samples collected during the R/V Endeavor cruise EN510 in the Gulf of Mexico, June 27 - July 4, 2012, at cold-seep and control sites. Measurements include the concentration of dissolved nutrients, dissolved organics, cations, anions and dissolved gases acquired from 17 CTD casts and 16 sediment cores.

Purpose:

The purpose of this dataset it to assess the impacts of the Deepwater Horizon blowout on sediment and water chemistry on fallout sites and compare these impacts to naturally occurring oil and gas seeps.
