This dataset contains water quality data from three depths in the Mississippi Sound obtained from 2022-04-01 to 2022-09-16. This dataset supports the publication of Dash, P., Moorhead, R. Purpose:

To characterize water quality over the oyster reef, specifically nitrate, phosphate, nitrite, and ammonia at three depths.

Data Parameters and Units:

The headers are No., Cruise Type, Date, Sample name, Latitude, Longitude, NO3 NO2- Results [uM N], PO4- Results [µM], NO2- Results [µM], and NH4- Results [umol N/liter].

Methods:

The concentration of dissolved nutrients including phosphate (PO43−), nitrate nitrite (NO3- NO2-), ammonium (NH4+), and nitrite (NO2-) was analyzed using a continuous flow auto-analyzer (Skalar Analytical Inc., Buford, GA) at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
