Abstract:

This dataset contains water quality data from three depths in Mississippi Sound from 2020-11-12 to 2021-07-29. The data consists of nitrate, phosphate, nitrite, and ammonia from three depths over an oyster reef.

Purpose:

To characterize water quality over the oyster reef.

Data Parameters and Units:

The headers are Cruise Type, Date, Sample name, Latitude, Longitude, NO3 NO2- Results [uM N], PO4- Results [µM], NO2- Results [µM], NH4- Results [umol N/liter]. WMS- Western Mississippi Sound

Methods:

The concentration of dissolved nutrients including phosphate (PO43−), nitrate (NO3−), ammonium (NH4+), and nitrite (NO2−) was analyzed using a continuous flow auto-analyzer (Skalar Analytical Inc., Buford, GA) at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
