Abstract:

Environmental data will involve collecting information on the types and quantities of pollutants such as Benzene and formaldehyde emitted by the petrochemical plants in the region. Air pollution is a good QoL measure and can capture trauma and environmental insults. Using publicly available documents, we will also collect and quantify the historical records of environmental violations and accidents at petrochemical plants in the region. This data would be collected from the EPA and the TCEQ.
