Abstract:

Oceanic juvenile sea turtles were captured, satellite tagged, and released at the site of capture. The resulting track data (latitudes and longitudes) reveal movement patterns in the Gulf of Mexico. The dataset includes track data of hawksbill sea turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata), loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta), Kemp’s ridley sea turtles (Lepidochelys kempii), and green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas).
